Building thoughtfully.
Learning by doing.
I build systems, contribute to open source, and explore how software, networks, and infrastructure fit together.
Usually with the hardware I already have.

About
Curious about the spaces between things.
I enjoy learning technology by building with it. That often means following a problem across several layers — from an application, through the operating system, across a network, and into the infrastructure underneath it.
My projects tend to grow from practical problems or simple questions: can I fix this upstream, can I give this old hardware another useful life, or what actually happens when one service talks to another?
This portfolio is a record of those experiments, the things that worked, and what I learned while getting there.
